What is your favorite thing to do outside of school and why?

  • “I love coaching lacrosse and field hockey becauseI get to know students on another level and help them be successful and reach their goals. I also love camping or anything outdoors.”

Do you have any hidden talents?

  • “I’m a really good test taker. I had almost a perfect score on the English SAT. I can also make a clover with my tongue.”

What’s your favorite part about teaching at BHS? Why?

  • “Getting to see all my former students again and being around all my students I coach. Also watching the kids grow up and making longer connections.”

What’s your biggest accomplishment?

  • “Probably raising my 8-year old daughter by myself.”

What’s a topic that fascinates you? Why?

  • “I think the national park system and all of the places you can see and visit is fascinating to me.”

How would you describe your teaching style?

  • “I think I am an empathetic and caring person and I try to be engaging and try to make people love reading and writing.”

If you could live anywhere on earth, where would it be and why?

  • “I would live in a camper and travel and never stay in one spot because there is so much to discover and learn. And I would write about my experiences.”

If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be? Why?

  • “I guess I would be a journalist or maybe a personal trainer.”

If you were to describe yourself in one world what would it be?

  • “Independent.”

What is your one wish?

  • “I just want all the people around me to be happy and successful.”

If you were to be in any movie or T.V. show what would it be and why?

  • “I would be in Harry Potter and I would have magic. Not the last book though. I think magic would be fun and I would make good friends at Hogwarts.”
