Cheap Eats: Snacks To Try From Trader Joes
April 8, 2021
If you are looking to stay-at-home and not wait to get into a restaurant due them not being at full capacity, and you are looking for a reasonably-priced dinner, then you might want to try Trader Joe’s. They have a variety of good and healthy snacks, which are also inexpensive. The first thing I grabbed from the freezer aisle was the Bambino Pepperoni Pizza. I cooked these in the airfryer that I have at home. They only cost $3.99 for four small personal pizzas. I found that if you didn’t cook the pizza for six minutes or more they would still be cold in the middle. Other than that they were delicious.
The next snack I picked up was a Salad Complete Caesar. This is a 15 ounce bag complete with lettuce, croutons, caesar dressing, and cheese. I put all of the ingredients in the bowl and mixed them all together. It was so good considering it came out of a bag. It also only cost $3.99 and I would definitely recommend grabbing this out of the produce section. After that, the snacks I grabbed were The Classic Potato Chips. They were so good and I, no joke, sat there and ate the entire bag. It cost $1.99.
Next I went to grab a beverage. I ended up getting sparkling water with the raspberry lime flavor. It was great, I drank the entire bottle which was 12 ounces. It was worth it though and it only cost $0.79. Last but not least I had to get something sweet. I went to the freezer aisle and picked up Chocolate Hold The Cone! These are mini chocolate ice cream cones with a chocolate covering over it. They were so good and 8 came in the box. These were only $3.29 and definitely worth getting. The total of all five of these items was $14.10. It was really cheap and everything was delicious. I would definitely buy these items again. I would rate this meal an A+. What about you? What’s your favorite quick meal or snack item at Trader Joes?
