On Monday December 3, 40 ‘astro junkies,’ Mr. and Mrs. Gyra, Ms. Jarzobski and Dr. Brown, took a three hour bus ride to Hartford Connecticut to listen as renowned astrophysicist Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson discussed all topics ‘Astronomy Bizarre.’ Dr. Tyson covered everything from how you would die in a black hole, to the possibility that earth is a part of a simulation universe. The talk was two hours worth of Tyson’s mind blowing theories and life work, interspersed with jokes and humor, all while Tyson slid around the stage in his socks and engaged the crowd with his passion for astronomy and physics.
