Astrology teacher Mr. Michael Gyra believes that a horoscope can accurately predict someone’s future as accurately “as a Chinese cookie.” Astrology gave birth to astronomy, meaning that people’s beliefs pertaining to the universe formed into a novel scientific field. Horoscopes fall under the category of astrology, not under astronomy. Astrology is based on the alignment of celestial bodies, while astronomy is the based on scientific research pertaining to space. Since there isn’t any real science to predicting horoscopes, I made these up, and who knows, they might come true?

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 19) Aquarius, you feel particularly excited this month, and if not you should, for great things lie ahead.

Pisces(Feb. 20 – March 20) Pisces, remember appearing paranoid or jealous is not attractive to anyone. Distance yourself from sticky situations and come at it from another angle, while enjoying your life.

Aries (March 21 – April 20) Aries, you may be introduced to someone new; don’t be surprised if you’re uneasy around him or her. This person could be nervous, so don’t jump to any conclusion(s).

Taurus (April 21 – May 21) Taurus, there’s no question that the last few days were difficult, so don’t be afraid to treat yourself, you’ve most certainly earned it.

Gemini (May 22 – June 22) Gemini, a lady in red will approach you this month, or a male in green will speak with you. Play your hand right; the opportunities are endless.

Cancer (June 23 – July 23) Cancer, you’re the life of the party. You’re the one who gets everyone laughing, so keep at it. It will make you a new friend soon.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23) Leo, fortune favors the bold; use the beast inside and you shall conquer your remaining obstacles.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23) Virgo, don’t be nervous to make the first move. We are all humans, and that means we share the fear of the unknown.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23) Libra, you’re feeling adventurous lately. This is due to you wanting to take off the training wheels and ride freely. But remember, it’s always more exciting to ride with a friend.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22) Scorpio, think about what you say when you speak to someone. Diplomacy isn’t just for nations.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 22) Sagittarius, you may feel nostalgic, remembering things in the past. If the memories makes you feel silly or happy, something from your past will reappear to greet you this year. Don’t force it!

Capricorn (Dec. 23 – Jan. 19) Capricorn, you could feel eager to attempt something new, but bare in mind new isn’t necessarily an improvement.
