You would think it was any other Patriots game as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski walked on the field for Super Bowl LV.  Though most thought the Kansas City Chiefs would win they were in for a surprise. The Tampa Buccaneers took home the Lombardi Trophy after winning 31-9. The dynamic duo won yet another super bowl on Sunday, February 7. Let’s recap shall we.        

Brady started out strong in the first quarter of the game, but lost the ball. Brady was sacked on third down, and Kansas City got the ball. There was an offside call against the Bucs and it was a  first down for chiefs. The first three points go to the chiefs, after a field goal by Harrison Butker. There was a holding call against the Chiefs, a first down for the Bucs. Touchdown by tight end Rob Gronkowski number 87,  the Bucs led 7-3 to end the first quarter. 

The second quarter started off strong with the Chiefs  in possession of the ball. There was an unnecessary roughness call against Chiefs . It was  the Bucs with the first down, and it was a timeout for the Bucs. The Chiefs punted after the third down, and there is another flag. It was a holding on the Chiefs. The punter, Tommy Townsend, dropped the first punt and the second punt was shanked. There was a flag against the Chiefs, and it was a holding in the secondary. First down for the Bucs. There was another flag against the Chiefs on the Bucs field goal. The call was offsides, a first down for the bucs. Touchdown by tight end Rob Gronkowski number 87, and now it was 14-3 after the Bucs made a first down for the chiefs. Mahomes makes some amazing throws, and it was another first down for the Chiefs. It was now a fourth down for the chiefs and they   attempted another field goal attempt. The kick was good, and it is now 14-6 toward the end of the second quarter.  With one minute left in the second quarter it was the Bucs with a first down. There was another flag on the field. The call was a pass interference against the chiefs. There was another first down for the Bucs, but then they took another timeout. Yet another flag, and yet another pass interference against the Chiefs. Wide receiver, number 81, Antonio Brown caught another touchdown pass for the bucs. Ther extra point was good for the bucs leaving the score 21-6 at the end of the second quarter. 

It is now half-time, and The Weekend performed. He sang a number of his hit songs including his latest hit ‘Blinding Lights’. The Chiefs started off the third quarter of the game. It was a fourth down for the chiefs, and they went with a field goal attempt. The field goal attempt was good, and the score was 21-9 the Bucs. It was another first down for the Bucs, and it was Gronkowski down the field. The Bucs got yet another touchdown made by running back Leonard Fournette number 28, and the extra point was good. The score now being 28-9 the bucs. The Bucs intercepted the pass, and it was a first down for the bucs. It’s fourth down for the Bucs after 3 incomplete passes. The field goal attempt was good, and the score is now 31-9. The bucs had a 22 point lead against the Chiefs. It was a first down for the Chiefs, and there is a flag on the play. Ending the third quarter 31-9 the bucs still up by 22 

The fourth quarter starts with Mahomes immediately getting a first down after two plays. Kansas City takes a 30 second timeout. The Chiefs are denied multiple touchdowns due to the bucs continuously blocking the passes. It’s a first down for the Bucs, and Brady is on fire. Brady just misses Gronkowski with the pass, the Bucs punted on fourth down. Mahomes is sacked on the first down. Mahomes throws it away and there’s a flag on the play. It’s a personal foul, roughing the passer, and it’s against the Bucs. There is a flag on the play and it was a holding on the Chiefs. It’s a second down and 20 yards to go, and a fan on the field causes a delay to the game. When the game resumed, Mahomes was sacked again.We were on a fourth down for the Chiefs, and the pass was incomplete. There was a flag on the play, for unsportsmanlike conduct against the Bucs. It’s the Chiefs with a first down, in the last two and a half minutes. Brent Grimes number 24 was hurt on the field but was able to walk it off. There were two minutes left in the game. It was 31-9 the Bucs still up by 22. There was an interception by the Bucs number 45, Devin White. It was a first down for the Bucs, and there are 45 seconds left in the game. The Bucs won the super bowl 31-9, and Brady got his seventh super bowl ring.
